Mumbai University VC Rajan Welukar to resume office

MUMBAI: Mumbai University vice-chancellor Rajan Welukar has been asked to resume his duties with immediate effect. The Governor and chancellor of state universities Ch Vidyasagar Rao has taken the decision in view of the Supreme Court stay order passed on February 27. In an order passed on February 19, the governor had asked Welukar to abstain from discharging his duties as vice-chancellor.
