MUMBAI: A special ACB court on Monday asked the ACB to look into allegations of corruption made by a retired cop against top police officials.

Former assistant sub-inspector Baban Jadhav filed the complaint against former police chief M N Singh, current addl DGP Surya Gupta, addl DGP Ahmad Javed, retired former DCP Vishwas Salve, ACP Vilas Shinde and P M Wankhede, desk officer, irrigation department. Jadhav alleged that because of his straight-forward attitude, he was disliked by his "corrupt" superiors. He said the police department had filed a false case against him.

"Complainant submits that Singh illegally dismissed him from service on Nov 29, 2002. He submits that the MAT reinstated him in service on Dec 14, 2004," the complaint reads. He alleged that despite the said order, Singh took time to reinstate him and a false case was filed against him. Jadhav said he was acquitted in the case.
