The accident took place on LBS Marg near Johnson & Johnson Garden around 1.30pm. Constable Ravindra Brid (50), attached with the Mulund police station, lives at the quarters right behind the police station. He was returning from a relative's house from Ghatkopar, when Brid's bike skidded on a wet patch of a road and collided into assistant inspector Chandrashekhar Tendulkar's two-wheeler. Tendulkar, attached to the Ghatkopar police station, was headed home after work.
Brid, was was flung to the ground, was critically injured and admitted to Fortis Hospital at Mulund. Tendulkar sustained minor injuries. No charges have been filed against either of the policemen. tnn
