Rs 4 crore duping case: Properties of accused attached

MUMBAI: The city economic offences wing (EOW) has attached two properties of Pankaj Patel, one of the accused in the case where 85 investors were duped of Rs 3.86 crore by a private firm Peacock Media. The firm promised investors 12% returns on investments in advertising business.

Patel, who is not traceable, owns two bungalows in Surat and Ahmedabad. An EOW team pasted attachment notices on the bungalows, which means the properties cannot be sold. The Surat bungalow is already under attachment by a nationalized bank.
