According to the Navghar police in Bhayander (east), the woman had borrowed Rs 35,000 from a money lender Kamlesh Jain (30) a resident of Mira Road last year.
When she expressed her inability to repay the loan and interest, Jain allegedly asked her for sexual favours. In her complaint, she alleged that Jain came to her house and sexually exploited her on several occasions. Jain and the woman's husband are cousins.
The police have booked Jain for rape (IPC section 376).
