BEST to run 125 extra buses for Ramzan Eid

MUMBAI: On the occasion of Ramzan Eid, the BEST has decided to operate 125 additional buses from 25 depots across the city.

Said BEST senior spokesperson A S Tamboli, ""It is a very big day and there will be a need for extra buses. Also, based on demand, we may increase the number of buses.""

He stated that buses will be run on prominent routes, some of them being Route No. 3, 7 Ltd, 8 Ltd, 20 Ltd, 21 Ltd, 22 Ltd, 25 Ltd, 30 Ltd, C-61, C-71, 124, 125, 521 Ltd, 533 Ltd, 700 Ltd, 706 Ltd, 707 Ltd among few other routes.

The special buses will also be run on the day after Eid, he added.
