MUMBAI: Thousands of students across Maharashtra travelled to centres in Mumbai for their All-India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) for admissions to MBBS and BDS courses on Sunday. The CBSE had allotted centres only in Mumbai and Nagpur for the test. Children and their parents travelled from towns including Sangli, Kolhapur and Malegaon. Students alleged some centres in the western suburbs were overcrowded.

"More than 50% questions were calculative in nature. We therefore had to invest more time in them," said a student. Aakash Chaudhary, owner of Aakash Institute said, "The paper was balanced but one question was seen as ambiguous as it had two correct options." While the board had asked students to get two photographs with their admit cards, students at a Kharghar centre alleged that the school refused to accept the photographs and instead got a photographer to click the pictures charging students Rs 400 for two copies.
