Four touts held at Dadar station

MUMBAI: Four men were arrested from Dadar on the Western line on Saturday for unauthorized sale of tickets.

GRP officials said they have recovered cash over Rs 10000, several tickets and reservation forms from these men.

The quartet was held after a law student tipped off the GRP. The accused have been identified as Krushna Rajput, 37, Santoshkumar Verma, 25, Aashif Chuadhary, 25 and Devkumar Rai, 28.

A railway court has remanded the quartet to police custody till Tuesday.

Two others, Omprakash Gupta and Rafique Shaikh, are still wanted.

All the accused have been booked on charges of cheating and common intention under sections 420 and 34 of IPC.
