Extra coaches in two WR trains to clear passenger rush

MUMBAI :To clear the extra rush of passengers, the Western Railways (WR) has decided to add additional coaches on temporary basis in two long distance trains, an official from WR headquarters here said.

"An AC 2-tier coach will be added to train number 12489/12490 Dadar - Bikaner Express from April 4 to 28 ex Bikaner and from April 5 to 29 ex Dadar on nominated days. With this, the train will run with load of 20 coaches," a WR official said.

Similarly, an AC 2-tier coach will be added to train number 22473/ 22474 Bandra Terminus - Bikaner Express from April 6 to 27 ex Bikaner and from April 7 to 28 ex Bandra Terminus on nominated days. With this, the train will run with load of 21 coaches. the official added.
