The block will be carried out between Kurla and Mumbai CST on the Up Harbour line, and between Vadala Road and Mahim stations from 11.30 am to 3.30 pm.
"All Down harbour line services to Bandra / Andheri leaving Mumbai CST from 10.20 am to 3.33 pm and Up harbour line services for Mumbai CST leaving Bandra / Andheri from 10.40 am to 3.17 pm will remain suspended," said a CR official. The Up Harbour line services to Mumbai CST leaving Kurla from 11.08 am to 3.20 pm will run via Main Line on Up fast line up to Byculla halting at Sion, Matunga. Dadar and Parel stations and further on Up slow line between Byculla and Mumbai CST stopping at all stations.
All Up and Dn Harbour line services arriving and leaving Mumbai CST from 11 am to 5 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule. Harbour line passengers for Bandra/ Andheri are permitted to travel via Main Line and Western Railway from 10 am to 6 pm.
"Due to these blocks, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling on foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains," the official said. "Passengers are requested to bear with the railway administration for the inconvenience caused," he said.
