This is due to a jumbo rail block between Borivali and Goregaon stations, which will go on till 2.35 pm.
The block is being undertaken to carry out maintenance work of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment, an official said. It will be carried out on the Up and Down slow lines. During the block period, all Up and Down slow line trains will run on fast lines between Borivali and Goregaon stations. Due to the block, some suburban trains will remain cancelled.
"All fast line trains of Borivali, Bhayander, Vasai and Virar including Dahanu local will stop at all stations between Andheri and Borivali in both the directions,'' said an official, adding,"Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned station masters."
