MUMBAI: Brace for a megablock on the Central Railway main line on Sunday. The rail block will be carried out between Mulund and Matunga on Up slow line from 11.15 am to 3.15 pm on Sunday.
"All Up slow line services leaving Thane from 10.41 am to 3.12 pm will be diverted on Up fast line between Mulund and Matunga stations halting at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Kurla and Sion stations and further re-diverted to Up slow line at Matunga station," a CR spokesperson said. The Up slow line services will not be available at Nahur, Kanjurmarg and Vidyavihar. Passengers of these stations are permitted to travel via Bhandup, Vikhroli and Kurla stations, the official stated.
The Down fast line services leaving CST 10.08 am to 2.42 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule. The Up fast line services leaving Thane from 10.46 am to 3.28 pm will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
All Dn and Up slow line services leaving/arriving CST between 11 am and 5 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
