MUMBAI: A 33-year-old homemaker from Nashik was caught by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) allegedly after four live 9mm bullets was found in her baggage during the security check at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) on Wednesday. She was handed over to the Sahar police for further probe and has booked her under the Arms Act.

The homemaker, daughter of a retired ACP, was unaware about the bullets in her baggage which belongs to her father who has got licence to keep the weapon. She was travelling with her kid and some relatives to Hong Kong when she was caught at airport check. She said she had packed her luggage in the bag that belongs to her father and she was unaware about the bullets in it," said Assistant Commissioner of Police (Airport) Madhukar Sankhe.

The security handling agency of Mumbai airport found bullets in the handbag of the woman, who was on her way to Hong Kong by Cathay Pacific CX 648, scheduled to depart at 1.30 am on Wednesday along with three other relatives. "She was caught at the main Security Hold Area (SHA) located at Level 4 of Terminal 2," said the Sahar police.
