On Sunday, More was seen by two squad members at Dadar station. "As she stood watching trains trundle past, it alerted Nirbhaya squad's Sonia Godse and Bharti Bagul who donned burkhas and called up two of their colleagues to wait at Kurla station," said an official.
At 5.17 pm, as people rushed to board a Badlapur train at Dadar, Godse and Bagul saw More pick a woman commuter's purse. "The purse had the owner's identity-card. Godse and Bagul passed on the same to their associates, Sunita Mandole and Wadekar, who were at Kurla. As the train reached Kurla, Mandole and Wadekar got in and called out the owner's name. When she identified herself, they told her that her purse had been picked and took her to Dadar," said the official.
Stolen ornaments and cash valued at Rs 1.48 lakh were recovered from More.
