Man killed over affair at Vangaon in Palghar

MUMBAI: A 27-year-old man was allegedly killed by a Vangaon resident who suspected him of having an affair with his wife. He involved his wife's brother in the crime.

Bharat Chipat, 27, a resident of Vanaikorpada in Vangaon was killed by Dinesh Kormada.

His brother-in-law Vilas Baswant Kormada suspected Chipat of having an affair with his wife.

Chipat was assaulted with bamboo sticks on Thursday night. He was taken to the hospital where he later died of his injuries.

Kormada has been arrested under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code by the Vangaon police. Baswant is absconding.
