DCP Cherring Dorje has been promoted as the additional commissioner, north east region, while DCP KNN Prasanna has become an additional commissioner in the crime branch. R D Shinde, who was the inspector-general at Ahmed Nagar will now be additional commissioner, central region, in place of Madhukar Pandey, who will now head DIG (training).
Additional commissioner, north region, Brijesh Singh has been shifted to the state CID in Pune. Singh will be replaced by DCP Kishore Jadhav from the anti-narcotics cell. DCP Nissar Tamboli has been shifted to Nashik and DCP Satyanarayan Choudhary has been transferred to Zone IX.
Inspector General Prashant Burde, who was in charge of SRPF, Nagpur, has been brought to Mumbai as the additional commissioner, coastal securities. Additional DG (administration) Sanjay Barve is now the additional DG (railways), while D Venkatesham has been posted in the training and special branch in place of special inspector general Amitabh Gupta who in turn has been shifted to the Konkan range. Joint commissioner of police, Nagpur city, Sanjay Saxena has been transferred in place of Rajneesh Seth at Force One.
Seth has been transferred to ACB to replace Prabhat Ranjan who will replace Barve.
