SSC results on June 17

MUMBAI: Clearing the uncertainty over the announcement of the SSC results, school education minister, Rajendra Darda said it would be announced on June 17. In Maharashtra, over 17 lakh students took the examination.

Last year, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education that conducts the examination had announced the results on June 7. However, the results were delayed this year and had caused worry among the students.

Apart from retirement of seven of their senior officials, there were several goof ups in the student pre-lists and hall tickets which had caused the delay. In Mumbai region alone, there were 28 SSC students who had received the same seat numbers. This was revealed only after the students began registering for FYJC online admissions. The students have been issued new seat numbers and will be able to examine their answer sheets after the announcement to ensure there has been no mix up.
