MUMBAI: All is not well within the ruling DF government. Instead of taking collective responsibility for failing to table the controversial Adarsh housing probe report, deputy chief minister AjitPawar has pointed the fingers at chief minister PrithvirajChavan over the issue.

"I was told by the chief minister to announce in the assembly that the Adarsh report would be tabled in the monsoon session of the state legislature," Pawar said. The deputy chief minister was replying to scribes query over the DF failure to keep its promise.

In the recently concluded monsoon session of the state legislature, the Shiv Sena-BJP and the Raj Thackeray led MNS had demanded that the Congress-NCP government should table the controversial Adarsh housing probe report. Pawar while replying to the Opposition's demand agreed to table the report before the end of the monsoon session, but failed to keep its promise.

The three-week monsoon session of the state legislature which commenced on July 15 here in Mumbai, concluded on August 2. Chavan during the press conference on last day of the session said that probe report could not be tabled as the action take report was not ready with the government.
