MUMBAI: A 47-year-old watchman committed suicide at a housing society in Borivali West where he was employed. Navalsingh Kunwar, a Nepali national, was found hanging in a cabin allotted to him at Sai Astha society in Moolji Nagar on Saturday. No suicide note was found.
Police officials said Kunwar was an alcoholic. He is believed to have hung himself from a pipe around 3 pm. But the body was discovered only by evening by residents. Doctors declared Kunwar dead at the Bhagwati Hospital. The body was sent for an autopsy to the Borivali post-mortem centre. A case of accidental death was registered by the Borivali police.
