MUMBAI: Has don Dawood Ibrahim's clout started declining in his fortress of Nagpada ? If sources are to be believed, fugitive gangster Ravi Pujari called up a developer in Pakmodia street in Nagpada area and threatened him to vacate a huge piece of commercial plot to landlord.

The property cell of city crime branch have arrested two members of Pujari identified as Tariq Siddiqui and Abdullah Ahmed alias Baba have been arrested for threatening the developer whose identity has been withheld for security reasons.

According to sources, the complainant had filed a complaint with Nagpada police last week claiming that Pujari called him and threatened to vacate the plot which is worth crores.

Sensing the changing equation, top cops handed over the case to city crime branch. Outsiders say that if Pujari is not control at right time there may be a gangway in south Mumbai.

Pujari calling up somebody in Dawood hub assumes significance in the underworld as even Dawood's close lieutenant Chhota Rajan never dares to do so. In 2011 Rajan men had killed Iqbal kaskar's driver Arif Bael at Pakmodia street over previous enmity.
