MUMBAI: TabCab, the largest radio taxi operator in Mumbai, has set up a dedicated contact centre team catering exclusively to airport bookings.
Said a TabCab spokesperson, "We will now have 30 emergency cabs scattered across locations in Mumbai to cater to airport bound bookings. There will also be a seven days advance bookings window."
TABcab has also announced, for the first time, a compensation policy for non-fulfilments of service. "If a cab driver(saathi) reports late and the customer misses the flight, TABcab will compensate Rs 2000 to the customer. Similarly, if the saathi does not report on time and the customer takes an alternative mode of transport to the airport, TABCab will compensate Rs. 500 to the customer,'' the spokesperson added.
