MUMBAI: The JJ Marg police late on Wednesday night arrested two newspaper vendors for selling an Urdu newspaper that had reprinted the Prophet Mohammed cartoons.
The two accused were Himmat Shaikh, 60, and Salman Shaikh, 20. Both will be produced before a Mumbai court court in the afternoon.
The newspaper and it's editor, Shireen Dalvi, are already facing two FIRs in Mumbai and Mumbra. Cops said that they were probing the case and whether someone asked the vendor not to sell the paper and they continued.
