Ramakrishna Mission multi-faith meet in honour of Swami Vivekananda

MUMBAI: As part of the ongoing 150th birth anniversary celebration of Swami Vivekananda, the Ramakrishna Mission and Math (RKM) which he founded is organising an inter-faith dialogue and seminar in Mumbai from November 8-10.

The 'Inter-Faith Dialogue for the Modern Era' convention will be held at Bhaidas Hall in Vile Parle.

"The discussions mirror the famous World Parliament of Religions in Chicago, where Swamiji delivered his memorable address. We have invited religious leaders of ten faiths to address an audience of around 1,200 delegates and guests," said Swami Sarvalokananda, secretary of the mission.

"Devotees from all parts of Maharashtra are arriving for a special convention on Sunday." Musical performances by senior artistes Nayan Ghosh, Brijnarayan, Padma Talwalkar and Uday Bhawalkar are scheduled during the evening.
