In the previous hearing the prosecution submitted the draft charges against accused Sajjad Ahmed Mughal (28) and also added charges of attempt to rape.
On August 9, 2012, Pallavi (25) was found dead by her live-in partner, Avik Sengupta, at their flat in Wadala's Himalayan Heights.
The building watchman Mughal in his confession statement told cops that he committed the murder after Pallavi fought him when he tried to force himself on her.
The Crime Branch filed an over 3000 page chargesheet in October last year.
The document submitted before a magistrate court also contained Mughal's confession statement and statements of those witnesses to whom he had allegedly told about the murder.
