MUMBAI: The animal rights NGO World for All -- Animal Care & Adoptions, is hosting an Adoption Camp as a sequel to their extremely successful 'Adoptathon' which saw a whopping 85 adoptions of puppies and kittens, an attendance of 1400 people along with celebrity involvement.
In order to give the animals that missed out another shot at adoption, the next camp is on Dec 9, at Yari Road Pet Park, Versova, near Poseidon Apartments.
The Camp is in association with Pedigree and the Ashoka Residents Association (ALM). Celebrities like Jackie Shroff, Shahid Kapoor, and Boman Irani are expected to be present at the venue on the occasion.
Close to 500 people are expected to visit, and around 70 Indian pups and kittens will be up for adoptions.
The founder of World For All, Ruchi Nadkarni, said that it is better to have an Indian pet instead of the exotic foreign breeds, which are not suited to our Indian climate.
