Police confirmed that the account of Sunil Vishwakarma (20) was hacked by an unknown person. Anil Kumbhare, the new DSP,Thane Rural said that the boy had last used his original Facebook account on Monday and on Tuesday an unidentified person created a fake FB account of Vishwakarma and the hacker just copied and pasted his abusive stance on Raj Thackeray on Vishwakarma's fake account.
The same night (Tuesday),the hacker deactivated the fake account,he added. Nevertheless,the case has been handed over to the Cyber Crime Cell,Thane and the boy is cooperating with the police and we are tracing the hacker and arrests will be made in this case,said Kumbhare.
The comment came at a time when the Palghar taluka unit of the Shiv Sena called for a bandh on Wednesday to protest against the suspension of cops in the Facebook case.
Sunil Vishwakarma, a class 12 drop out pursing a computer course in Vasai was handed over to the Palghar police by MNSactivists on Wednesday noon. Vishwakarma, a resident of a chawl in Manor Naka told the police that his account was hacked. The comment which abuses Raj and the 'Marathi manoos' was posted under the name of 'Sunil Vishvakrma' . The account was created in early November this month.
The complaint was registered by Bhavesh Churne, MNSThane Rural student wing President. Said Churne, " we got information about the comment on Tuesday night. He was called to our office and he said he had not posted the comment. We informed the police."
The comment was posted from a mobile phone at around 3.47 pm on Monday. The comment was followed by a comment by one Prem Patil who abused Sunil for his comment. It was followed by another comment by Sunil who further abused Raj.
