MUMBAI: There is a rail block on Harbour line till 3 pm. The Up Harbour line services towards CST leaving Panvel till 3.27 pm will remain suspended between Panvel and Nerul and Down Harbour line services to Panvel leaving Nerul till 3.17 pm will remain suspended between Nerul and Panvel.
The Up Transharbour line services towards Thane leaving Panvel till 3.19 pm will remain suspended between Panvel and Nerul and the Down Transharbour line services from Thane to Panvel leaving Nerul till 2.48 pm will remain suspended between Nerul and Panvel, sources said. The Panvel - Andheri services will remain cancelled during the block today. However, special local trains will run on CST- Nerul Harbour line section and Thane - Nerul Transharbour line section during the block period.
"Due to these blocks, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling on foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains," an official added.
