DG Vanzara walks out of jail on bail

AHMEDABAD: Former Gujarat deputy inspector general of police DG Vanzara, accused in Sohrabuddin Sheikh's and Ishrat Jahan's encounter case, today walked out of the Sabarmati Central Jail after being granted bail.

Vanzara was granted bail in Ishrat Jahan encounter case about 10 days ago.His bail bonds in Sohrabuddin encounter case couldn't be furnished for a long time due to which he had to stay behind bars. According to sources, Vanzara will fly to Mumbai today as he is under court instructions to stay in the city.

Vanzara will have to mark his presence before the CBI twice a month.
