Said a WR official :"To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment, a jumbo block will be carried out between Santacruz and Goregaon stations from 10.35 am to 3.35 pm on Sunday. This will be done on the Up and Down local (slow) lines."
During the block period, all Up and Down slow trains will run on through (fast) lines between Santacruz and Goregaon stations. All Up and Down 12-car slow trains will take double halt at Vile Parle platform number 3/4 on the fast lines.
"Due to the block, some suburban services will remain cancelled," an official said, adding, "Detailed information to this effect is available with the station masters."
