Cases against Indu Mills agitators to be withdrawn

MUMBAI: Mumbai BJP president Ashish Shelar said welcomed the state cabinet decision to withdraw police cases registered against those who had participated in political and social agitations.

Shelar said on December 6, the Mumbai BJP had demanded that all cases against those who had agitated for the Indu Mills land to be given for a memorial for Dr B R Ambekar should be withdrawn.

"The state cabinet's decision to withdraw all such cases up to November 1, 2014 will ensure this is done. This is a welcome decision," he said.
