Western Railway may cancel some trains due to jumbo block

MUMBAI: In order to carry out maintenance work of track, signalling & overhead equipment, a jumbo block will be undetaken between Churchgate and Mumbai Central stations from 10.35 am to 3.35 pm on UP & Dn Local (i.e. slow corridor) lines on Sunday.

During the block period, all Up and Dn local line trains will run on through lines (i.e. fast corridor) between Churchgate and Mumbai Central stations. Due to this block, some Up and Down local trains will remain cancelled, officials said.

"A detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements," he added.
