HYDERABAD: National award winning actor Prakash Raj took strong objection to his poem being used in a film titled "Aagadu" released last month. Prakash Raj said the director of the movie Srini Vaitla did not even have the courtesy to ask him for permission to use it.

Srinu Vaitla, a well-known director in Tollywod and Prakash Raj have been at loggerheads since April this year. Prakash Raj was removed from the film after a day's shooting. Complaints were also lodged by some people related to the film against Prakash Raj with the producers council and directors council.

Subsequently, Prakash Raj had held a press conference to indirectly hint at Srinu Vaitla's hand in getting him banned from the industry. He also read out a poem with the substance of it being that if an attempt was made to destroy him, he would only reach his goal more easily.

On Saturday, Prakash Raj held another press conference to lash out at Srinu Vaitla for using the poem in the film in which Mahesh Babu is the hero. Bollywood villain Sonu Sood, who was replaced by Prakash Raj in the film, utters the dialogue - the poem written by Prakash Raj.

"It is a shame and disgrace that my poem was used without permission," he said lashing out at Srinu Vaitla.
