Although the incident took place on Friday, the case was lodge late Saturday when the victim narrated the entire incident to her parents.
The police managed to trace the accused, Mohammed Chand Pathan, from his friend's residence and arrested him early Sunday.
In her complaint, the 17-year-old victim alleged that on Friday afternoon, when her parents were out, Pathan forcefully entered her house and raped her before her one-and-half-year-old brother.
Pathan has been booked under section 376 and 506 of IPC and section 3 and 4 of Prevention of Children from Sexual Assault Act. Police said that the accused is married with two kids.
