DGCA issues directives to guard against Ebola

MUMBAI: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation recently issued directives to airlines to prevent the occurrence of Ebola virus disease (EVD).

Airlines on international routes are to make in-flight announcements for self- reporting by travellers with signs of EVD.

Passengers are to be given forms to provide information on visits to an affected country. Airlines are to keep records of passengers returning from West Africa and inform the authorities.
