Singh, resided with her parents and younger sister Tanushree in the A wing of Sai Aaradhana building, Jesal Park, Bhayander (east), said the Navghar police. Her parents had rented a flat in the B wing for Singh to study. Singh would spend most of the time in the B wing house and used the terrace to go from one flat to another.
On Friday, she called up her mother and informed her that she would come to the A wing flat for tea and snacks at 5pm. At 4.45pm, there was a massive thud and building residents rushed out. Tanushree went down and found a blood-soaked Singh.
She was taken to a nearby hospital where, hours later, she died of head injuries. The police have registered an accidental death case. The cops are investigating how Singh fell off the terrace. They are awaiting the autopsy report.
