Central Railway to construct three road over bridges

MUMBAI: Central Railway has agreed to construct three road over bridges (ROB) at Nahur (Mulund-Goregaon Link Road), Vikhroli and Vidyavihar, said Congress MLC Charan Singh Sapra.

"The BMC will fund the construction of the bridges. Also, the portion of the bridges that extend beyond Railway land will be completed by the BMC," said Sapra.

The MLC said the Mulund-Goregaon Link Road has been widened by BMC to 120ft, whereas the ROB crossing above the Railway track is just 35ft in width hence there is always a traffic jam on this bottle neck. The car commuters get stuck at this stretch & it becomes worse during the monsoon.
