MUMBAI: On the occasion of World Environment Day recently, the Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) organized a tree plantation drive at Canossa High School, Andheri. The drive was initiated to perform social responsibility considering the importance of trees. MGL in association with students and teachers of Canossa School planted 30 saplings in the school premises.
It is crucial to preserve forests and it is important to address climate change through reduction of greenhouse emissions. Besides briefing the students about the importance of tree plantation, representatives from MGL also educated them about various tips for conservation of natural resources.
