Said a BEST official, "We will have extra services, specially outside station areas. If the board officials want any special service from station to an exam centre, they can contact the local depot manager and make a request. We will ensure that HSC students are not inconvenienced and they reach exam halls on time."
The BEST has also allowed students to board from the front door after showing their hall tickets. Also, students from municipal schools and appearing for the SSC exams can avail of concessional fares while travelling from home to the exam centre in a bus.
"We plan to make it a permanent feature. Every year, SSC students from municipal schools can travel at concessional rates to the exam centres,'' said BEST general manager Om Prakash Gupta.
