BEST to deploy additional buses on Sunday

MUMBAI: The BEST has planned to deploy additional buses for the convenience of HSC students on Sunday. A BEST official said that principals, exam centre officials or those from the HSC board can make requests to the depot manager to run additional buses.

"If there is a need to run more buses from the station to the exam centre, the request can be made to the depot manager and it will be done,'' an official stated. The BEST has also allowed students to board the buses from the front door after showing ID cards or hall tickets.

Those from municipal schools and going to exam centres to give SSC exams have been given concessional fares from this year. Sources said that the railways too plan not to organise any megablocks on Sunday for the convenience of HSC students. HSC students will be appearing for biology an economics papers on Sunday.
